Dr. sc. Dražen Lučić obtained his scientific degrees at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb. Additionally, he received training for corporate management, for members of supervisory and management boards. After more than 20 years spent working mainly in managerial positions in the "Ericsson" company, mostly in the countries of Western Europe, he returned to Croatia, where he worked for 10 years in the Croatian Regulatory Agency for Network Activities (HAKOM), first as a director, and then as the President of the Council. Since 2019, he has been working at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) as head of the Information Security Department. Among other things, he was a member of the board of BEREC, the European regulatory authority for electronic communications (2013-2018), the National Council for the Digital Economy (2014-2018), and the National Cyber Security Council (2016-2018). He is a certified internal auditor for the cyber security of key service operators and digital service providers. He is a member of the Croatian Association of Security Managers (HUMS), the Croatian Institute for Cyber Security (HIKS), and the Council of the Croatian Accreditation Agency. He is the chairman of the working group for the digital economy of the International Chamber of Commerce of Croatia (ICC HR) and has been a member of the global working group for cyber security of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) since 2019. He is a senior member of the IEEE. He is a lecturer at the faculties of Computing and Informatics and Geodesy and Geomatics of the University of the North. He is an external associate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb.
