Hrvoje Puljiz

Hrvoje Puljiz graduated in economics from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Zagreb in 2001 and completed a postgraduate specialist study in Financial Management at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Split. At the beginning of his career, he took the position of Secretary of the Cabinet of the Minister of Science, Education, and Sports, where he was responsible for the efficient functioning of the Minister’s Cabinet and communication with stakeholders. Before joining CARNET, he had a long career in the field of investment fund management and financial consulting, gaining experience in various managerial positions. From 2019 to May 2021, he was the Director of the Operational and Legal Affairs Sector at the Central Clearing Depository Company (SKDD), where he was responsible for cooperating with the regulator and participants in the capital market and managing operational affairs. He was also in charge of developing business processes and leading projects for the integration of Croatia’s financial market into the eurozone. In May 2021, he took the position of Director of the Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNET.
